Weather
Mixed bag so far today. Wet first thing, cleared to fine warm sun, now mostly cloudy, dry and warm.
Bad Battery
Always buy good quality batteries is what we are told. So the last time I had to replace the station transmitter battery it was with an unknown make from the local shop. What a difference, instead of the usual 2 or 3 days of low battery warning we got about two hours before we had a lifeless transmitter. So, sorry but no data was recorded overnight. Battery replaced with a decent one this time!

Wrong way around
Ok, I got the last two blogs the wrong way around, Aboyne green was taken about an hour before the Kirk it's just that I forgot to press 'send' so my email software saved the first one and sent it after the kirk.
By the way poor quality of pictures are due to the convenience of the camera-phone but I think it's still better than nothing.

St. Machers Kirk
The church on the green at Aboyne. Notice the now pure blue sky, feels like 22 deg C (according to Willie).

What i want is more mobile recognition. I love metcheck and weather underground but neither are mobile friendly, why not? Am i the only one who wishes to view data on the move?

Fine end to the day
Looks like it will be a fine end to the day after the earlier uncertanty. Windy, dry, warm with well broken cloud.
Beautiful start
Beautiful start to the day here in Ballogie. I hear of the flooding in Fife and torrential downpoors a few miles away in Torphins at the weekend and wonder what its all about. As i head up the Dee vally the weather changes, colder and grey, will it rain, wont it rain? We shall wait and see,,,,,,,,,,

All change
This morning found us with a particularly miserable, drizzly day yet now, broken cloud and warmth are the order. So sat out with beer and cheese. Nice one Ballogie. Oh, so sorry for the Scouts who are just leaving, having spent what must be one of the wettest weeks at the camp site....See you again next year!

Oh' that Broadband
Hey, it's been a week, yes a whole week with an internet connection, after all this time, we hope to get up and running again. Plans are to keep it simple (i use mobile devices to view a lot of the time so forgive me if things are not state-of-the-art but try it on your phone or palm, don't forget i write all my own code as well) hope to include a webcam at some point. Keep an eye
