Yes it could; all the signs are there, that the last third of the month will see the right conditions for some decent snow.
Snow watchers should start to get excited around the 20th of the month I reckon.

No wind for a while
Notice how we have had no wind between 13:30 Yesterday and 08:30 today?
Well we haven't had a lot, in fact it has been particularly calm but a frozen windy thing didn't help.
